He paints four graffiti in the neighborhood of Las Sindicales with children and Nature as protagonists and adds a fifth that shows a cat lying in a pot

The Sevillian artist Fabián Bravo, known as Kato, has already completed his work of muralism in Ronda, which has consisted of the creation of four murals with children and Nature as protagonists, to which he has added a fifth, which he is executing in the morning of this Wednesday and that shows a cat lying in a pot.

Kato has been very satisfied with the final result and has stressed that it has been “a great experience” working in Ronda, underlining the contact with the residents of the area. In total, it has taken him several weeks to complete these works that are made in spray, in a realistic style.

The first mural is called Gotas de vida and represents a girl watering flowers with a watering can. “I wanted to remember the importance of being in contact with Nature and taking care of it. This mural is part of the new City Council project for the Las Sindicales neighborhood, where new green areas full of flowers and trees, playgrounds with swings and benches for the elderly will be created”, she indicated.

The second mural is called Looking beyond and includes “a child observing a butterfly through a magnifying glass, which symbolizes the curiosity and wonder that many children today have lost in the digital age.”

“In a world where most children are immersed in endless hours of mobile phones and video games, this boy represents a ray of hope for those who are still looking for a connection with Nature and the countryside. The mural invites us to reflect on the importance of instilling in children a love for Nature and curiosity about the world around them”, explained Kato.

The third mural is called Innocence in Bloom and “conveys a message of hope and optimism, with a girl looking at the flowers. It shows that, despite the challenges and difficulties we face in life, there is always something beautiful and positive that can inspire and motivate us to keep going”, added this artist, who stressed that “the flowers on the mural symbolize the natural beauty that exists in the world and the need to protect and preserve it. The girl, with her innocent and curious look, represents the purity and simplicity of childhood, and the importance of protecting and caring for the future of children and the planet”.

The fourth mural bears the title of Garden Swallow transmits “a very deep message about the connection between Nature and human beings and depicts a child surrounded by potted flowers. He holds a swallow in his hand and they both look at each other with deep tenderness. It represents the harmony that exists between the human being and Nature, in this case, between the child and the swallow. The presence of the swallow in the garden of the child also transmits a message about the importance of these animals for the control of plagues of mosquitoes and other insects, and the need to protect their nests and their habitat”, stated Kato, who has reiterated that, in addition, “the mural also reflects the symbology that swallows have in popular culture, especially in Andalusian patios, where they are considered a symbol of eternal love and respect for the couple. The image of the child with the swallow conveys a message of love and respect for nature and for the living beings that inhabit it”, he concluded.

The Kato murals are added to the Ronda Urban Art Route, which has three works by Okuda, one by Víctor Fernández and another by Víctor García.
